Practise speaking Norwegian with an AI tutor.

Norsk Samtale helps Spanish speakers practise Norwegian Bokmål out loud. Talk or type to an AI tutor that corrects you and explains in Spanish, follow short guided lessons, or start a hands-free practice call and just talk.

Teacher mode

Answer in Norwegian and get the corrected sentence plus a short explanation in Spanish. Ask in Spanish ("how do you say…?") and get a Bokmål example. Listen at normal or slower speed and spell words letter by letter (A–Å).

Practice call

A hands-free conversation with Salmi, the AI tutor: pick your level (A1–A2, B1, B2) and a situation (free chat, café, colleague, doctor's office, neighbour, weekend). Optional subtitles, mute and hang up. After the call you can ask for a short summary of your mistakes.

Guided lessons

Short lessons for introducing yourself, ordering at a café, shopping, transport and work, with hints when an answer is not quite right. Written lessons work without sending anything to the AI.

How it works

No account and no sign-up. Microphone access is only requested when you use a voice feature.
During a call, speech and pauses are detected on your device: only the parts where you speak are sent for transcription, never the silence.
Voice and AI features need an internet connection and are subject to fair-use limits.
No advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no purchases in this version.

The app interface and explanations are in Spanish; you practise Norwegian Bokmål.

The tutor is an artificial intelligence and can make mistakes. Norsk Samtale is a practice tool, not a certified language course or exam preparation. A practice call is a conversation inside the app, not a phone call.
